Sophie is a Northern Rivers local who graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Osteopathic Studies) and a Master of Osteopathic Medicine. Sophie has a strong appreciation for the body’s ability to heal on it’s own when supported with a balanced combination of hands-on treatment, movement, education and exercise. She is committed to taking the time to understand each person’s individual goals and developing personalised management plans to address the underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction. 

Sophie adopts a holistic and integrative treatment approach, utilising a variety of both direct and indirect techniques to suit the needs of each individual. Sophie utilises a range of osteopathic techniques including joint articulation and mobilisation, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue massage, manipulation, dry needling, myofascial cupping and exercise prescription.

Sophie enjoys working with people of all ages and has a special interest in managing persistent musculoskeletal pain, sporting injuries, and headaches. Sophie is also particularly passionate about supporting individuals and families with additional needs and people of all abilities, understanding the importance of creating a safe, supportive and inclusive healthcare experience.

Outside of the clinic, Sophie enjoys the outdoors, keeping active, and spending time with friends and family.
