Peter is a Naturopath and Remedial Massage Therapist who has been in practice since 2005.
As a massage therapist, he uses trigger point therapy, meridian massage, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy and dry needling.
His special talent is working on pain and improving mobility. He has had much success with all types of neuropathy, muscle spasm, inflamed joints such as bursitis and injuries both old and new.
His naturopathic treatments specialise in men’s health issues. This involves discovering and treating the root causes of chronic degenerative diseases, inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, poor energy levels, sleep problems, prostate problems and E.D.
By working with your GP, Peter can improve your quality of life using herbal, homoeopathic and nutritional medicines along with dietary coaching. This style of ‘preventive medicine’ can prevent more serious and debilitating conditions developing in the future. Naturopathic medicine is about bringing the body to its optimal state by identifying warning signs so that a healthy balance is restored rather than just treating the symptoms only.
He also specialises in skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
For his skin treatments he makes topical ointments which are tailored to each case and don’t contain any harmful chemicals such as artificial fragrances and preservatives. His ointments use specific carrier oils and essential oils which can reduce itching and inflammation as well as promoting the healing of the skin.
Additionally, he treats ‘from the inside’ by discovering primary and secondary triggers of skin conditions and prescribes the appropriate herbal, nutritional and homoeopathic medicines.
Diets are a significant factor in skin problems and are analysed for possible contributors to the skin condition, this may entail the use of food intolerance testing.
