Leon began working with Northern Rivers Health in Alstonville many years ago and in 2022, became the Principal Osteopath and Clinic Director of our Lennox Head clinic.
After studying osteopathy in New Zealand and after working in various clinics in Auckland, Melbourne and regional Victoria, Leon made the move to the Northern Rivers to enjoy a more balanced lifestyle and start a family with his wife, who grew up in Lennox Head.
In addition to practicing in the clinic, Leon works closely with the Osteopathy academics at Southern Cross University (Lismore), supervising and mentoring student osteopaths.
Leon is trained in a wide range of osteopathic techniques enabling him to diagnose and treat numerous complaints. He has a special interest in headache, migraine and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD) and has published research on osteopathic management of gastrointestinal dysfunctions such as constipation, reflux and bloating.
