Osteopathy for Pregnancy

Osteopathy is an AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) recognised system of manual medicine that recognises the important link between the body’s structure and the way it functions.

Osteopaths focus on how a person’s joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissues and organ systems interact and function as a holistic unit

Our clinicians use a range of hands-on approaches, including soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and manipulation approaches, various stretching and myofascial techniques alongside dry needling, sports taping, exercise and postural advice and ergonomic instruction.

By incorporating a holistic approach of diagnosis and treatment, our caring clinicians will address your pain, movement restriction and dysfunction in your body that are associated with your complaint.

Osteopaths are government registered primary health care practitioners who have completed a minimum of four years of study incorporating an undergraduate medical science qualification, followed by a graduate Masters clinical program. Osteopaths are trained to perform standard medical examinations of the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory and nervous systems.

Osteopaths must also meet high professional standards and complete annual professional development education. We provide expert treatment and advice to people of all ages from newborns to the elderly and everyone in between offering many different services, tailored to suit your individual needs.
